Walking the trail:
- Summary: Starting from the beautiful village of Coniston, head northwards to the quieter Northern fell of Wetherlam. Then a nice easy scramble up to Swirl Howl and across to Great Carrs and Great Friar while enjoying great views across to the Scafell range and south towards Old Man of Coniston. A lovely route taking in 4 Wainrights.
