- Summary: Visit the impressive Zakagori ruined fortress at the end of this long winding scenic valley. Surrounded by rocky peaks, volcanic springs, abandoned villages and border guards! (friendly!) A must do relatively easy walk for a relaxed day if visiting the Kazbegi region.
