- Summary: The most prominent structure in Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) is Gergeti Trinity Church sat 2170m under mount Kazbek. Its a must hike if visiting the town and is a relatively simple climb giving fantastic views of the Caucasus mountains. For those with more energy you can walk for more miles up to a fab viewpoint of Gergeti Glacier. A long demanding day hike and back but so rewarding!
